HYDERABAD
Hyderabad is the capital of southern Telangana state of India. An important center for the technology industry, it is home to many restaurants and upscale shops. Its historical sites include Golconda Fort, a former diamond trading center that was once the dynastic capital Qutb Shahi. The Charminar, a 16th-century mosque with 4 arches supporting towering minarets, is an ancient landmark of the city near the ancient Laad Bazaar.
